The Port of Long Beach 2006-2016 Strategic Plan charts the course for the future by outlining the Port’s vision, mission and guiding principles, and by establishing clear goals and strategies in eight areas:Environmental Stewardship; Safety and Security; Community; Industry and Government Relations; Infrastructure and Transportation; Trade and Commerce; Financial Strength; Organizational Effectiveness.
The document is the result of careful planning and study with input from key stakeholders, including Long Beach residents, local government agencies, Port staff, the Long Beach Board of Harbor Commissioners, Port tenants and customers, and industry service providers.
